Accessibility statement

A lot of people find us at a difficult time, sometimes on an old phone, sometimes with poor eyesight or a shaky signal. The site is built with that in mind.

What we've done

• Body text set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low vision.
• Text and interface colours checked against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast levels.
• Every control reachable by keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
• Tap targets at least 44 pixels high, with the phone number always within reach.
• Forms with real labels, plain-language errors and an error summary at the top of each step.
• Meaningful alternative text on images, and no information carried by colour alone.
• A skip link to the main content, and headings in a logical order on every page.

Known limits

Some photographs are carried over from our previous website while original files are being replaced. We're working through them so each has a proper description.
